Description

A self-portrait bathed in the reflected glow of a Tokyo convenience store at 2am. Oil on linen, built through forty transparent glazes, the figure dissolves into the surrounding light — present but barely. This piece began as a study of insomnia and became something about the loneliness of hyperconnected cities.
